Overflowing with deep purple crystals and ringed with rough quartz and natural matrix, this piece is a shard of a much larger geode broken open to reveal the stunning colour inside.

 

AMETHYST GEODE

Amethyst Geodes are formed millions of years ago in hot lava as gas pockets, fluid silica then penetrated inside, together with combination of iron particles it creates the purple tone. When all the compositions cool off, it produces the quartz crystal inside. With the Mohs scale of 7, its natural colours vary from lavender, brown, green, yellow and white.

Chakra placement is in the Crown Chakra.

Metaphysically the benefit of this stone has been known to give energies for Power, Healing.
