Andamooka Rainbow Matrix Cabochon Stone B842

This is a natural stone found in Andamooka and treated to look like expensive black opal-the treatment is permeant but keep away from harsh chemicals. This stone has been cut to a standared size so it will fit commercially made mountings in mass produced jewelery.

Carbonized and resin treated. This material has smooth tumbled stones and pebbles which are believed to be bought down by glaciers before the opal formed-some are very small appearing as black dots.

The resin we use is from Germany and is food safe so safe to wear.
