Agate naturally comes in many different colours, although the brighter colours sometimes mean that the stone has been dyed. The ancient Romans used to dye Agate and the dying process was a secret for many years. Dyed Agate retains its healing abilities and also takes on the healing properties associated with its new dyed colour.

Agate has the power to harmonize Yin and Yang, the positive and negative forces that hold the universe in place. Not only in Yin Yang, Agate is useful in Feng Shui as well. For example, placing blue Agate is excellent Feng Shui in the East (Health) and South (Wealth) areas of your home.
